At Kids’ Chance, our purpose is simple: give kids of workers who have been injured on the job a chance at a better future. It’s a purpose that we cannot fulfill without the support of a passionate community.
The 2024 Kids’ Chance National Conference brings that community together to empower our volunteers, recognize the support of our leaders and partners, and celebrate what matters most — our kids.
Our first day together in Chicago starts out with registration and materials pick-up at noon and ends with a Welcome to Chicago Event hosted by Kids’ Chance of Illinois (KCIL.
In between, we’ll have four workshops to help you improve your events, marketing, and data management as well as our opening keynote.
Friday in Chicago includes two educational sessions led by experts on strategic fundraising and board building.
Day two ends with our National Conference Dinner and Awards Presentation when we will honor our 2024 Robert M. Clyatt Distinguished Service Awardee, Kevin Turner.
Our final day together in Chicago begins with breakfast and a student keynote, followed by an educational session led by Kim Stezala entitled: Students are Our Mission.
We will have closing remarks at 10:30 AM and then there are several farewell activities for everyone to explore on their own — including a tour of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
We’re excited to have Kids’ Chance of Illinois (KCIL) as our host state this year. In between and after conference sessions, the city of Chicago offers many attractions for you to explore. From restaurants to entertainment to arts & culture, you won’t be bored.
